Carmelite Order

The Carmelite Order has now been reform of the 16th century two distinct branches. The Carmelites and the Carmelites of the Ancient Observance (which have not adopted the reform) have recently made their resettlement in Bourges in France and Nantes. The Discalced Carmelites and the Discalced Carmelites, from reform of St. Therese the numbers are approximately 4 000 brothers and sisters 12 000 on five continents. Some lay in the Communities of Carmelite life as spirituality, help Caramel to accomplish its mission: to lead women and men today on ways of prayer and encounter with God.
